GREENSBORO, N.C. - The College of Charleston women's golf team find themselves in 17th place heading into the tournament's final round of the Bryan National Collegiate.
The Cougars shot 34-over for the day and are 59-over for the tournament after rounds of 313-322=635.
Looking up the leaderboard the Cougars are within two shots of Louisville for 16th place in the tournament.
Senior Leigh Whittaker led the Cougars on the day as she shot a 5-over 77 with five bogeys and 13 pars. Junior Katharina Boehm leads the Cougars for the tournament as she is tied for 49th at 10-over. Whittaker is one shot back at 11-over and tied for 57th among 93 student-athletes.
The Cougars will continue play in the tournament with the final round of competition tomorrow morning at the Bryan Park Players Course.
