JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Senior Emily Smith (Rock Hill, S.C.) is set to compete in the NCAA Track & Field East Preliminary, which will be contested May 24-26 on the campus of North Florida in Jacksonville.
Smith, who will compete in the high jump Friday at 5:00 p.m. won the indoor and outdoor titles in the high jump at the Southern Conference Championships earlier this year.
Smith is part of a group of 48 athletes from the east region that will compete for 12 spots to qualify for the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championship June 6-9 in Des Moines, Iowa.
