With two seniors graduating, four freshman have joined the team and will likely see playing time this season. The class of 2015 includes Christy Hewatt (Cumming, Ga.), Courtney McKenzie (Dallas, Ga.), Mikaela Hopkins (Agusta, Ga.) and Jazz Green (Darlington, S.C.). CofCsports.com sat down with the freshman to get to know them a little better, starting with Christy Hewatt.

A: “I want to be a special education teacher.”

Q: What is something unique about you that most people don't know?

A: "I know how to surf. I learned in Florida when i was 12 at an AAU tournament. I took lesson with girls on my team and it was a lot of fun."

Q: Do you have any pre-game rituals/traditions?

A: “I put all my stuff on in the same order and I always write a bible verse on my wrist.”

Q: Do you have any brothers/sisters?

A: “Yes. I have a little sister, Courtney, she is 17 and is a cheerleader. I’m very proud of her.”

Q: Do you have any nicknames?

A: “TC (full name is Taylor Christine) and Chris, short for Christy.”
