CHARLESTON, S.C. - Sophomore equestrian rider Eliza Hay (Wadmalaw Island, S.C.) earned College of Charleston Student-Athlete of the Week honors sponsored by Piggly Wiggly for the week of Oct. 1.
Hay helped lead the Cougars to a first-place finish at the opening IHSA show of the season at Georgia Southern. Hay earned two best-in-show performances by winning the Open Fences (Section A) and Open Flat (Section B) and was the high-point rider of the day.
