CHARLESTON, S.C. - Junior men's soccer player Luke Huggett (Brighton, England) earned College of Charleston Student-Athlete of the Week honors sponsored by Piggly Wiggly for the week of Oct. 1.
A sociology major, Huggett scored a goal and notched an assist over the weekend in CofC's battles against No. 17 Coastal Carolina and No. 1 Maryland. Although the Cougars could not come away with a victory in either match, Huggett helped pace a CofC offense that scored three goals against some of the top competition in the country.
