CHARLOTTE, N.C. - College of Charleston freshman diver Megan Norton has been named the CCSA Female Diver of the Week, the conference office announced Wednesday.
Norton competed in both the 1-meter and 3-meter diving events in College of Charleston's dual against South Carolina. She scored a personal-best in both events, finishing with a score of 260.48 in the 1-meter board and 236.55 points in the 3-meter event.
A native of Ocean City, N.J., Norton has led the Cougar female divers in scoring throughout the fall. Her award marks the first time that a CofC female diver has won a CCSA weekly award.
The Cougars will travel to Charlotte, N.C., this weekend for the Wingate Fall Frenzy.
