CHARLESTON, S.C. – The College of Charleston softball team will hold an auction and sell special auctions during the first half of the CofC men’s basketball game against UNC Greensboro on Saturday, Feb. 2 at 7 p.m. at the TD Arena.
The auction will take place around the concourse where fans can place increasing bids on several items of interest. The auction will be live for the entirety of the first half with bids closing promptly at the end of half time.
Winners will be able to claim their prizes in the Cougar Den after the end of the game and pay for their items with cash, check or Visa credit cards.
This year’s auction items include but aren’t limited to Charleston-area hotel and dining packages, golf outings, spa packages, NFL tickets, New York Yankees and Mets tickets, luggage and handbags, power lawn equipment, kitchen appliances, jewelry, CofC merchandise, plantation and downtown-carriage tours, Charleston Stingrays tickets, artwork, food baskets, vacation packages and signed memorabilia from Bobby Cremins, Steve Spurrier, Aaron Rodgers and others.
The softball team has also been selling raffle tickets for a pair of iPad Minis and will select a winner during the second half of Saturday’s basketball game. Tickets will still be able to be purchased up until the 10-minute mark of the second half for $5 or five for $20.
The winner will receive two 32-GB iPad Minis, two iPad Mini cases and two Apple protection plans, valued at over $1,200.
