College of Charleston Sailing Posts North Points #2 Win at Clemson

The College of Charleston sailing team swept both the A and B-Divisions to win North Points #3 held Sept. 26 in Clemson, S.C.  The Cougars won with 22 points, 20 ahead of second-place Clemson.

Ben Spector and Alexis Scott sailed the A-Division for the Cougars and came away with 11 points after winning three of six races.

Brooks Clark and Cory DeCollibus led Charleston with the win in the B-Division, totaling 11 points with a top three finish in every race, including two wins.

The College of Charleston travels to New London, Conn. Oct. 3-4 for the Danmark trophy Regatta, as well as to Miami, Fla., for the SAISA Men's Singlehanded Championship.  The Cougars also host the T.S. Stern Sloop Regatta at the J. Stewart Walker Sailing Center.
