The Cougar Club, College of Charleston's student-athlete scholarship program, is pleased to announce a new addition for recent graduates. The Graduate Cougar Club (GCC) has been formed to help alumni that graduated within the last four year begin a tradition of giving back. This affordable club allows its members access to the same benefits of the Cougar Club at half the cost. For example, it is $500 to $1,599 to join the Coaches Club level and receive entry into certain Olympic sporting events, eligibility to purchase men's basketball season tickets and other great benefits. A Graduate Cougar Club member can join this level for as little as $250. "It's a unique experience playing for the Cougars and the College of Charleston. So much history, so many loyal fans. To be able to play for this school and Coach Bobby Cremins means a lot to me. To ensure future success, we need the support of the Graduate Cougar Club," said Donovan Monroe, junior men's basketball player. Brandon Stevens, Executive Director of the Cougar Club, states, "The future success of the Cougar Club lies in the hands of our young alumni. It is essential that we create an affordable and easy way for them to stay connected with the College of Charleston and Cougar Athletics.
