April Albritton is in her second year as assistant director of the Cougar Club.
Albritton comes to the College of Charleston from the University of Washington where she was the program coordinator for the Huskies. She served as the ticket manager and handled donor seating relations for women's basketball, volleyball and softball, as well as assisting in the design of the ticket stock, renewal applications, letters and order forms. A box office game day supervisor, Albritton also served as ticket manager for the 2008 NCAA Volleyball Regional as well as the 2009 and 2010 NCAA Women's Basketball First and Second Rounds.
Aside from handling many of the ticketing operations at Washington, Albritton developed a donor program with area business women for women's athletics and sat on the executive council of Fastbreak, UW's women's basketball donor board.
Prior to Washington, Albritton was the assistant ticket manager at Davidson. There, she devised marketing plans to increase season and individual ticket sales and helped sell out Davidson's first-ever game play at Time Warner Cable Arena, home to the NBA's Charlotte Bobcats. Albritton was also in charge of women's soccer operations for the Wildcats and served as the game administrator for the Southern Conference Women's Soccer Championship in 2007.
From 2006-07, Albritton was an athletics assistant at Wake Forest. She assisted with assigning and distribution of season and individual tickets as well as provided customer service to Deacon Club members and the general public. She was instrumental in selling out Wake Forest's allotment of 17,500 tickets for the FedEx Orange Bowl and assisted in ticketing operations for the 2007 Men's and Women's ACC Basketball Tournament.
A native of Charlotte, N.C., Albritton graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 2005 and earned a bachelor's degree in exercise science with a concentration in community youth sports development.
