David Jordan was the CofC men's soccer captain in 1982, 1983 and 1984. In 1983, as a senior captain, Jordan led the 9-8 Cougars to a District 6 playoff appearance, where they lost 3-1 to No. 1-ranked USC-Spartanburg. He was named to the NAIA All-South Regional First Team and honored as the program's first All-American (First Team NAIA choice) in 1984. Jordan was also a two-time team MVP, all-conference and All-District 6 selection for the Cougars.
