Thomas Huggins, Class of '82 (Basketball)
Thomas Huggins played for the CofC men's basketball team from 1979-81 and was named all-district as the Cougars posted a 17-11 mark in legendary head coach John Kresse's inaugural season in 1979-80. Huggins led CofC to a 25-5 record in 1980-81 which marked the school's first 20-win season. For his career, he averaged 12.4 points per game and shot 53.6 percent from the floor. His 83.7 free-throw percentage in 1981 still ranks as the school's second-highest single-season percentage record from the charity stripe.
