CHARLESTON, S.C. - The College of Charleston men's tennis team carries a two-match win streak into its non-conference meeting with UNC Asheville on Friday, March 30 at the CofC Tennis Center at Patriots Point.

First serve between the Cougars (9-3) and Bulldogs (9-6) is set for noon (ET). A pay-per-view live video stream of the doubles point against UNC Asheville will be available on the Charleston Sports Network at: www.CofCSports.com.

"In terms of momentum, the team is starting to gel and show some improvements," CofC Head Coach Jay Bruner said. "We played two really good conference matches recently and those were close and good tests for us. UNC Asheville will be the same. We've never played them before and they are one of the top three teams in the Big South Conference right now. We are excited to play someone new and continue to work and compete hard in practice and in each of our matches."

CofC will also return to Southern Conference play this weekend traveling to UNCG (7-9, 4-2 SoCon) for a Sunday, April 1 dual match at noon (ET) in Greensboro, N.C. The Cougars are the only undefeated league school remaining after taking the weekend sweep over defending SoCon Tournament champion Samford, 4-3, on March 23, and Chattanooga, 5-2, on March 25, to improve to a perfect 4-0 on the season.

"UNCG is always a tough place to play," Bruner said. "We haven't played there in a while and they are always one of the stronger teams in the SoCon. It will be another good test for us on the road. Coach (Thomas) Mozur does a great job of preparing his team and they will be ready for us on Sunday."
