JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The College of Charleston women's track & field team had several athletes competing on day one of the North Florida Invitational.
Freshman Tiffany Sisk finished seventh-place in the shot put with a throw of 12.94 meters (42-05.50 feet). Also competing in a throwing event was sophomore Christine Klinar, who competed in the hammer throw and finished 27th with a heave of 40.15 meters (131-09 feet).
On the track sophomore Elle Brewer competed in the 5,000-meter run and finished 24th in 19:11.36. Also competing in the 5K was freshman Danielle Sams who finished 27th in 19:22.65.
The Cougars continue competition today in the meet in Jacksonville.
