Cougars Set To Host Charleston Challenge

CHARLESTON, S.C. – The College of Charleston men’s tennis team will conclude the fall season by hosting the second annual Charleston Challenge on Nov. 2-4 at the College of Charleston Tennis Center at Patriots Point in Mt. Pleasant, S.C.

After hosting a successful four-team tournament last year, the Cougars welcome UNC Charlotte as well as Southern Conference foes Appalachian State and Wofford this weekend.  CofC will play a singles and doubles match each day starting with Wofford at 4 p.m. (ET) on Friday, App State at 11:30 a.m. (ET) on Saturday and UNCC at 11:30 a.m. (ET) on Sunday.

“Being our last competition for the fall, we are looking forward to seeing our progress sinceSeptember,” CofC Head Coach Jay Bruner said. “It’s great to be competing in November and to get more experience in a team setting.”
