CHARLESTON, S.C. – The College of Charleston men’s tennis team will finish up its regular season with two Southern Conference matches against Wofford and UNCG in the next two days. First up is Wofford on Thursday, April 11 at 2:30 p.m. (ET) at the College of Charleston Tennis Center at Patriots Point in Mt. Pleasant, S.C. Thursday’s match will also be Senior Day for the College’s lone senior Billy Kenny (Pawley’s Island, S.C.)
The Cougars’ overall record for the season is 10-8 with a 5-3 mark in the SoCon. This ranks them 4th in the Southern Conference going into their last regular season weekend.
The Terriers have had a more challenging season as their record is 3-11, 1-6 in the SoCon. Wofford will also be looking to get revenge for last year’s 6-1 loss to CofC.
“Wofford will be a good challenge,” CofC Head Coach Jay Bruner said. “I’m excited that we get to finish off the season at home and it will be a good opportunity for our players to get ready for the SoCon tournament next weekend.”
CofC will play its last regular season match versus UNCG on Friday, April 12 at 3 p.m. (ET) at Patriots Point.
