RICHMOND, Va. – Redshirt-senior Darcy Dorton was named the CAA Offensive Player of the Week, the conference office announced Monday.
The award is the fourth CAA Offensive honor for the outside hitter from Muncie, Ind., the second-most in the conference.

She terminated the ball even more ferociously in a sweep at Delaware in the season finale, making 17 kills and hitting .419 with just four errors. She made 10 digs in that match to finish the season with a team-high 10 double-doubles.
She finished the weekend with an average of 5.38 kills/set and a hitting percentage of .410. Her season total in kills now reaches 354 (3.61), which is second in the CAA. She is also hitting .229 with 2.48 digs per set.
The CAA Yearly Awards will be announced on Thursday at the CAA Volleyball Banquet in anticipation of the 2013 CAA Volleyball Tournament, held Nov. 22-24 at the North Charleston Convention Center.
