CHARLESTON, S.C. – The College of Charleston baseball program will offer a wide range of free options for fans to follow the Cougars live in 2014.
“Voice of the Cougars” Jeff McCarragher returns for another season as CofC will broadcast 13 regular season games and all postseason games on ESPN 910 AM. McCarragher will be joined by former CofC infielder Rob Harding for the majority of the broadcasts as Harding gives his perspective as a former player in the College of Charleston baseball family.
Games against South Carolina, Coastal Carolina, Michigan, Appalachian State, Georgia Southern, Charleston Southern, UNC Wilmington and William & Mary will all be carried on traditional radio.
Nearly every home game at Patriots Point will be shown for free on the Charleston Sports Network on UStream. Featuring multiple cameras, replays and industry-leading graphics, these games will allow fans near and far to experience CofC Baseball up close and personal. Fans can follow and watch on a traditional computer or through the UStream application on their smartphones. Along with McCarragher, Nick Vlattas and Mike Ward will join the broadcast team for a number of games throughout the season.
All CofC road games not carried on traditional radio will have free audio-only streaming through the Charleston Sports Network on UStream. Will Bryan, CofC’s Associate Director of Athletics Communications and baseball contact, will be bringing you all the action from the road.
College of Charleston kicks off the season on Friday afternoon at No. 12 North Carolina. All of the action will be carried with audio on UStream with Bryan and Ward on the call.
