BROWNS SUMMIT, N.C. - The College of Charleston women's golf team shot a second-round score of 326 and will look to rebound in tomorrow's final round at the 2011 Bryan National Intercollegiate held at the Champions Course at Bryan Park.
Two Cougars shot a seven-over par 79 in the second round including junior Leigh Whittaker (Baden-Baden, Germany) and sophomore Ainhoa Nogales (Pozuelo de Alarcon, Spain) who are tied for 68th and 75th respectively. CofC is 17th amongst a competitive tournament field featuring 13 top 50-ranked programs including current team leader and No. 17-ranked Wake Forest with a 589 (+13).
Tournament play concludes tomorrow with an 8:30 a.m. (ET) shotgun start.
