CHARLESTON, S.C. - The College of Charleston women's golf team travels to Austin, Texas this week to compete in the Challenge at Onion Creek, hosted by Texas State University.
The tournament will be contested Nov. 7-8 at the Onion Creek Golf Club on the par-70, 5,944 yard course. The format will be 36 holes on Monday starting at 8:30 a.m., followed by the final 18 holes Tuesday starting at 8:30 a.m.
The field in the fifth annual tournament includes Texas Tech (24), East Carolina (47), Michigan (51), Augusta State (53), Texas State (55), UTSA (81), Arkansas-Little Rock (84), Indiana (85), Washington State (86), College of Charleston (91), Xavier (115), Montana (129), Columbia (144) and Mcneese State (180). Numbers in parentheses are rankings according to golfweek.com as of Oct. 30.
Live scoring will be available at golfstat.com and results will be posted at CofCSports.com following the conclusion of play each day.
