AWENDAW, S.C. - Freshman Shane Rogan fired a 1-under 71 to lead the College of Charleston men's golf team on the final day at the Hootie at Bulls Bay Intercollegiate Tuesday at Bulls Bay Golf Club.
The Cougars shot rounds of 295-300-310=905 (+41) to finish in 13th place and beat out Maryland and Southern Conference foe Wofford.
Rogan started and ended his round with birdies as he finished the tournament at 2-over and tied for 12th place individually.
Up next the Cougars travel to Tampa, Fla., for the Gary Koch Invitational, hosted by Kentucky and Auburn, April 7-8 at Old Memorial Golf Club.
