The two teams will now play on Thursday, May 23, at 10 a.m. The loser of the game will play Elon immediately afterward at Fluor Field, while the winner faces Furman at 8:30 p.m.
The game was originally scheduled to start at 8:30 p.m., and a 10:10 p.m. start time was announced after the conclusion of the third game. However, impending storms forced the teams to delay the start and the weather did not cease before the midnight curfew time.
Charleston’s Jake Zokan will be on the mound against GSU’s Justin Hess. Both starting pitchers will be ready to go as they were not burned in the lead up to the postponed game.
