CHARLESTON, S.C. - Although the College of Charleston volleyball team has concluded its home season, the Cougars still have one more match left in the city of Charleston, when CofC travels to face The Citadel on Tuesday, Nov. 8, at 6 p.m.

The Cougars (21-9, 12-2) are coming off an exciting Senior Weekend as the team swept Furman and Wofford to take a commanding lead of the SoCon South Division. Kelly Kolich led the team with 22 kills, including a team-best 13 against Furman, many of which came in the final dramatic points.

Freshman Sloane White tallied 20 kills and five service aces over the weekend, earning her fifth SoCon Freshman of the Week honor this season. White now leads the team in total kills, tallying 315 for the season.

Redshirt-junior Emily Shelton also had an impressive weekend, averaging 6.17 digs per set and leading the team with 22 against Furman. Shelton is now ranked fourth in the league with 4.72 digs per set. Senior Sarah Havel has moved back up to second in the league in blocks per set with 1.04.

The Citadel (8-20, 1-13) enters Tuesday's match after tallying its first conference win of the season, knocking off Wofford, 3-1, on Saturday at home.

The Bulldogs are led by Kaona Mercer who ranks ninth in the SoCon with 2.93 kills per set. Alexa Dahlstrom has performed well as the team's setter, averaging 7.81 assists per set and tallying 35 aces on the season, good for third in the league.

College of Charleston defeated The Citadel, 3-1, in the season's first matchup at TD Arena. White led the way for the Cougars in that match with 14 kills.
