CHARLESTON, S.C. - The Women's Basketball Invitational East Region Final between the College of Charleston (21-11, 13-7) and Appalachian State (21-12, 14-6) originally scheduled for 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 25 has been changed to a 5:30 p.m. tip-off. The change was made to accomodate an Appalachian State men's basketball game with Pacific in the College Insiders Tournament at 8 p.m.
The College of Charleston, participating in its first Division I national postseason tournament, has won it's first two games defeating Morehead State 67-59 on the road and downing Bradley 76-66 at the Carolina First Arena this past Sunday. The winner of the East Region Final will advance to the WBI Championship Game on either March 28 or 29.
