College of Charleston women's basketball coach Nancy Wilson and men's basketball coach Bobby Cremins have become just the fourth pair of active NCAA Division I men's and women's basketball coaches to reach 500+ victories.
 
Wilson claimed her 500th win on Monday in Charleston's 63-43 victory at Georgia Southern.  Wilson improved her 26-year coaching mark to 500-309.  Cremins won his 500th game earlier this season when Charleston beat Coastal Carolina 73-58 on Dec. 17.  Cremins has a 511-342 record over 28 seasons.
 
Charleston's women's team is 19-7 overall and 12-6 in Southern Conference play.  The Cougars play host to Appalachian State in a 2:00 start at Carolina First Arena on Saturday.  Wilson will be honored for her milestone win prior to tipoff.
 
The men's team is 19-7 overall and 11-5 in league play after a thrilling 91-87 win at Appalachian State on Monday.  The Cougars play at Georgia Southern at 7:30 on Thursday.
