Welcome to the College of Charleston's women's soccer 2011 Signing Day Central! Stay tuned throughout the day for up-to-the-minute information on the 2011 CofC men's soccer signing class plus hear what head coach Christian Michner has to say about the new additions to the program.
"When we put together a recruiting class we look to bring in players that have different qualities and characteristics to our program," said Michner. "This helps to ensure that our team will be made up of players that have been exposed to a wide variety of playing styles and tendencies. The 2011 class is a solid group, not only from a playing perspective, but they're all amazing people and we're proud to have each one of them represent the College of Charleston and the women's soccer program."

(7:05 AM) Allison Brashear is the first member of the women's 2011 signing class to fax in her National Letter of Intent (NLI) forms and is officially a Cougar! Some of Allison's highlights include helping her club team to a 2008 Disney Showcase and CASL Tournament championship. She was named the Region III 4-A Player of the Year from 2008-10. (9:00 AM) Francesca Kentimenos is the next to have her NLI into the office and is now a member of the CofC women's soccer team! Francesca was an all-state, all-league, all-county and all-section selection in 2008-09 and voted the 2009 and 2010 offensive player of the year. (1:34 PM): Anna "A.K." Helm has completed the neccessary paperwork and is now a member of the CofC women's soccer team! A.K. has played on three regionally ranked teams in Louisiana and traveled to Sweden with Baton Rouge Soccer Club and was a silver medalist in the Gothia Cup. Find out more about A.K. below.

(2:03 PM) Jackie Weston is the newest member of the women's soccer team! Weston graduated early and has already enrolled at CofC! Weston set her high school record for most career assists in history. Twohig was named all-region and all-state in both South Carolina and Georgia and her older brother, Francis, plays under head coach Ralph Lundy on CofC's men's team.
