CHARLESTON, S.C. - The College of Charleston softball team has added a doubleheader with Charleston Southern to its schedule at Patriots Point on Wednesday, May 2 at 3 p.m.
The doubleheader will serve as the third of the season between these two crosstown rivals. The teams are level at 2-2 this year with the home team sweeping both doubleheaders thus far.
The game will serve as a tune-up and break up a two-week hiatus before the Cougars conclude the regular season at Southern Conference opponent Elon in a three-game set on Saturday, May 5 and Sunday, May 6.
From there, the Cougars descend on Boone, N.C., for the Southern Conference Championships from Wednesday, May 9 to Sunday, May 12.
