2013 All-CAA Team

Junior (2013): One of the conference’s best, Seften helped to guide the Cougars to a very successful first season in the CAA…Got off to a bright start by winning – for the first time in school history—top marks at the Carolina Challenge with a time of 15:34.91, also named CAA Runner of the Week for his efforts…Posted the second best 8K mark in school history at the Furman Cross Country Classic with a time of 24:59.85…Claimed another first place team finish at the Towson Invitational (the Cougars inaugural CAA meet) with a time 26:14.59…Finished 15th place overall after running an 8K mark of 25:50.35 at the Mountaineer Open…Earned all-conference honors after posting a twelfth place finish at the CAA Championships.

Sophomore (2012): A big part of the Cougars 2012 success, Seften claimed a third place finish at the home-hosted CofC Invitational with an 8K time of 26:43…Notched top team honors at the Winthrop Invitational with an 8K time of 26:04.77…Continued to perform well at the Charlotte Invitational, claiming a second place team finish amongst a competitive field with an 8K time of 26:35.19…Laid down another great 8K time at the Will Wilson Citadel Invitational, grabbing top team honors en route to a ninth place finish with a time of 26:22.99…Finished 51st overall at the SoCon Championships with a time of 26:45.66.

Freshman (2011): Competed in five meets for the Cougars in the 2011 season...Finished third at the CofC Invitational in 25:49, running the ninth best time in school history...Ran 25:51 to finish 45th at the SoCon Championships.

High School: Fifth at 2010 Connecticut State Championship
