CHARLESTON, S.C. - Senior All-America candidate Andrew Goudelock (Stone Mountain, Ga.) and junior distance runner Kristen Wolfe (Midlothian, Va.) garnered College of Charleston Student-Athlete of the Week honors sponsored by Piggly Wiggly for the week of Feb. 7.

Goudelock led the first-place CofC men's basketball team to a 2-0 week with key wins over South Division rivals Wofford (79-54) on Feb. 3 and Furman (73-54) on Feb. 5. For his efforts, he was named the Southern Conference Player of the Week for the third of his career. Goudelock has knocked 20-or-more points in seven of his last eight outings including a game-high 25 points versus Wofford and game-high 29 points against Furman. He is currently on a 10-game double-digit scoring streak and continues to rank among the top five players in the country in points per game (4th, 23.8) and three-pointers made (4th, 3.3 avg). Goudelock turned in his second-straight 100+ assist season against the Terriers with a game-high six assists (102).

Wolfe and the CofC women's track and field team competed at the New Balance Invitational on Feb. 4-5 at the Armory Track and Field Center in New York City. On the first day of competition, Wolfe won her section of the 3,000-meter run with a time of 10 minutes, 25.91 seconds, which marked the sixth-fastest time in school history. Later that day, she ran a leg of the 4x800-meter relay which set a new CofC school record (9:31.37). Wolfe's record-setting weekend didn't stop there. She was also a member of the 4x400-meter relay team which crossed the finish line with the third-fastest in school history for the event at 4:03.80.
