Senior distance runner Kristin Jenkins (Cheyenne, Wyo.) was one of 10 CofC women's indoor track and field student-athletes to earn all-conference distinction, and had the highest grade-point average of all winter honorees with a 3.91 in math. Sophomore women's basketball player Taylor Mims (Baton Rouge, La.) was also honored with a 3.56 GPA in exercise science.
To be eligible, student-athletes who participated in men's and women's basketball, men's and women's indoor track and field and wrestling, must carry at least a 3.2 cumulative grade point average entering the winter season and were required to compete in at least one-half of their team's competitions during the recently-concluded winter campaign. In addition, the student-athletes must have successfully completed at least 24 credit hours in the previous two semesters.
