Gibbons was selected as the Coastal Collegiate Swimming Association (CCSA) Men's Diver of the Week on Nov. 4. It marked his third weekly honor of the season. Gibbons won both diving events in the men's and women's swimming and diving team's dual meet against Davidson on Oct. 30. He scored a 271.35 in the one-meter dive and a 235.72 in the three-meter against the Wildcats to go along with his best marks against Virginia Tech and Savannah College of Art and Design this fall. Last year, he had a career-best performance in the one-meter event versus Davidson as a freshman.
Dawley helped the CofC volleyball team to a 3-0 record and its 10th-straight victory with a 3-1 defeat of Georgia Southern on Nov. 6. It marked the Eagles' first loss of the season at home. Dawley recorded 46 assists, four kills, six digs and one block at GSU. She was also instrumental in setting up an efficient offensive attack which converted a 39.8 hitting percentage. Dawley averaged 11.70 assists per set against The Citadel, Davidson and GSU combined and earned Southern Conference Offensive Player of the Week honors. She has totaled 3,535 career assists to date, which ranks fourth all-time in the school record books.
