CHARLESTON, S.C. - In this edition of Straight Off the Track freshman Dena O'Brien runs her best race of the year as she sets her seventh College of Charleston school record as the top collegiate in the 5,000-meter race at the Raleigh Relays.
O'Brien currently has the sixth best time in the NCAA East Region and 13th best in the country.
Co-hosts Emily Smith and Chelsea Taylor also caught up with Olympian and World Champion Bershawn "Batman" Jackson to go over his goals and plans to visit Charleston sometime soon.
The girls also go to the archives to find footage of CofC Coach Ben Yocum pole vaulting dressed up as a Crawfish.
