The Cougars turned in 39 points behind the Tigers (23) and ahead of crews from North Carolina (49), Davidson (58), Duke (71), Auburn (72) and Georgia Tech (88).
Freshman skipper Nicole Hause (Easton, Md.) and freshman crew Amy Kubie (Norwalk, Conn.) finished third in the A-Division race with 20 points followed by freshman skipper Elizabeth Chambers (Mooresville, N.C.) and freshman Courtney Alexander (Annapolis, Md.) in the B-Division with 19 second-place points.
A week ago, the Cougars won the North Points #2 regatta hosted by Georgia Tech. CofC turned in seven first-place finishes in 12 races behind 11 points from Chambers and freshman crew Katherine Baker (Cohasset, Mass.) in the A-Division and eight points from Alexander and freshman Mary Massalon (Charleston, S.C.) in the B-Division.
CofC will return to action on March 26-27 at the Duplin Women's Team Race hosted by Tufts University in Boston, Mass., North Points #4 hosted by Tennessee in Knoxville, Tenn., the Boston Dinghy Cup hosted by MIT in Boston, Mass., MAISA/SAISA hosted by Hampton in Hampton, Va., and the Szambecki Team Race hosted by Old Dominion in Norfolk, Va.
