The College of Charleston sailing team went 11-1 to win the SAISA Team Race Championship and qualify to compete in the ICSA Team Race National Championship to be held in San Francisco May 29-31.  South Florida finished second in the weekend event held in Tampa, Fla., to qualify as well.

The Cougars went 3-1 in the first round robin and 8-0 in the final two to take the win. 

Nick Martin, Bryan Rigby and Juan Maegli skippered for the Cougars, while Britney Haas, Sam Stokes, Becky Bestoso and Katie Weaver served as crew.
