LEXINGTON, Ky. - Senior Alex Percival finished in sixth-place in the Individual Walk Trot class this weekend at the IHSA National Championship Horse Show.
CofC Head Coach Boby Story said Percival performed well and it was probably the most competitive Walk Trot class he has ever seen at nationals.
The Cougars had three student-athletes compete, who all hail from the state of South Carolina. Freshman Kenzie Russell won a National Championship in Individual Walk Trot Canter. Junior McKenzie Armour was 11th in Individual Novice Fences and sixth in Individual Intermediate Flat.
