Cougar Club members traveled first class aboard the team's chartered airplane and having the unique opportunity and experience of observing team practices, behind-the-scenes team preparation and scouting sessions.
Donors also benefited from great seats located behind the team bench affording them an up-close view of the games. One of the most memorable highlights of the six-day trip for Cougar Club members was sharing a special Thanksgiving Day feast with the coaching staff, players and athletic department staff - showing what it truly means to be a part of the Cougar Family.
"We have a new appreciation for the intensity of three games in three days!" said supporters, Barb and Tom Hallberg. "While the student-athletes and athletic professionals were in constant preparation for the games, the fans were able to relax in the Bahamian sunshine. Our group was the second-largest contingent of the eight participating teams and everyone knew and felt our presence at the games. Overall, it was an exciting experience and we would do it all over again."
