RICHMOND, Va. - Former College of Charleston centerfielder Marty Gantt was named College Baseball Insider (CBI) All-America Honorable Mention, the organization announced Friday.

A native of North Augusta, S.C., Gantt was also tabbed for the ABCA/Rawlings All-America Second Team after winning the SoCon Player of the Year Award and garnering a spot as a Louisville Slugger Third Team All-American. In 2012, Gantt led the team with a .373 average with 11 home runs, 46 RBI and 29 stolen bases. Gantt led the league and finished ninth in the country with 68 runs scored.
