CHARLESTON, S.C. - The College of Charleston coed sailing team sets its sights on competing well at the SAISA Spring Coed Championships hosted by Miami (Fla.) on April 7-8 in Miami, Fla.

The Cougars are currently tied for fourth in the nation with Georgetown in the latest Sailing World College Rankings, presented by Sperry Top-Sider, behind No. 1 Yale, No. 2 Stanford and No. 3 Brown as of April 5.

They will compete against district foes in South Florida, UNC Wilmington, Rollins College, NC State, New College, host Miami, Georgia, Florida, Eckerd College, Clemson and The Citadel.

"It looks like it will be windy in Miami," CofC Head Coach Ward Cromwell said. "However, it should be a good weekend of sailing for the Cougars and hopefully, we can get the win."

CofC will sail junior All-American skipper Mac Mace (Newport Beach, Calif.) and senior All-American crew Perry Emsiek (Corona del Mar, Calif.) and senior crew Sam Stokes (Norfolk, Va.) in A-Division and senior All-American skipper Zeke Horowitz (Sarasota, Fla.) and junior crew Cory DeCollibus (Duxbury, Mass.) and junior crew Brooks Clark (Newport Beach, Calif.) in B-Division.
