CHARLESTON, S.C. - Senior men's tennis player Mickael Trintignac (Le Cannet, France) earned College of Charleston Student-Athlete of the Week honors sponsored by Piggly Wiggly for the week ending April 9.

Trintignac led the College of Charleston to a 6-1 victory over Furman to remain a perfect 6-0 in Southern Conference action on April 6. Trintignac was a winner at No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles versus the Paladins. He defeated No. 117-ranked Andrew Mellow in straight sets, 6-3, 7-5, to improve to 10-5 overall and 4-2 in league play at the top of the order as well as combined with teammate Kyle Parker for an 8-5 win over Alex Christ and Joel Cook. The Cougars' top tandem own a team-best 13-2 overall mark in doubles, while CofC remains the only unbeaten team in the SoCon. They are currently on a seven-match win streak.
