SENIOR (2017-2018)
Played in a total of three matches for the fall season... Played through to the round of 16 with wins over Campbell's Dustin Werner (6-0, 6-3), USC Upstate's Ankush Arora (6-4, 7-5) and No. 13 Julian Zlobinsky of Wake Forest (6-3, 6-3) at ITA Carolina Regional... Defeated Gerard Sola (Campbell) (7-6, 6-4) in singles and teamed up with Benedikt Henning to win a Flight One Doubles co-championship with a weekend of undefeated play at the CofC Invite... Went 7-6 in singles and 8-6 in doubles during the spring, en route to All-CAA accolades in both categories... Was highly effective alongside Benedikt Henning in top flight doubles, as the two combined to go 8-3 and go undefeated in their first seven matches together... Went undefeated in his final six matches.
JUNIOR (2016-17): Saw action in four fall tournaments for the Cougars, posting a singles record of 2-7 in predominantly top flight action and a doubles record of 4-2 alongside partner Vasily Kichigin ... Picked up a pair of doubles victories at the prestigious ITA Carolina Regionals, knocking off Arora/Garrido of USC Upstate (0-6, 6-3, 10-8) and Hocevar/Hublitz of UNCW (7-6(5), 7-5) ... Picked up a win at the USTA Player's Choice Open against Columbian Omar Felipe Lopez Torres (6-2, 6-2) ... Won the Flight One Doubles Championship at the CofC Classic with wins against Vitek/Figura of S.C. State (7-5) and Lehfeldt/Ling of ECU (6-2) ... Posted a 15-4 dual singles record, playing exclusively in the top flight ... Posted a seven match winning streak from March 21 through March 15, culminating with a CAA Player of the Week nod after defeating Hampton's Juan Araoz and Old Dominion's No. 37 ranked Adam Moundir ... Was undefeated in his first five singles matches of the year ... Earned a CAA Tournament win against UNCW's Andrew Torres (6-4, 6-4) ... Went 11-3 in top flight dual doubles play alongside Vasily Kichigin and Rodrigo Encinas ... Was named CAA Doubles Team of the Week after going 2-0 against Nicholls State and New Orleans ... Registered just one doubles loss in his final nine matches of the year ... Picked up a pair of CAA Tournament wins against JMU's Lanthiez/Mendoza as well as UNCW's Savarino/de Rueda
Sophomore (2015-2016): Earned All-CAA First team honors for his work in singles play for the College. He put together a record of 19-5 in singles play, and a record of 18-5 in the No. 1 spot. Estevarena also earned an All-CAA First team nod in double play, with his partner Rodrigo Encinas. As a pair, they won 16 of their 24 matches together, and were ranked as high at No.66 as a tandem. He played a crucial role in the College’s CAA Championship, securing the final point in the finals against No. 67 UNCW’s Santtu Leskinen, 4-6, 6-3, 6-3, to secure the victory. Estevarena was named as the CAA tournament’s Most Outstanding Player for his efforts. Estevarena picked up three CAA Men's Tennis Player of the Week Awards during the 2016 season as well, the most of any player in the CAA.
Freshman (2014-2015 @ Mississippi State): Earned his first-career ranked win in a 6-4, 0-6, 6-2 victory against N.C. State's No. 39 Nick Horton, helping MSU to advance to the championship match of the ITA Kickoff Weekend. After playing at the No. 3 spot for the early portion of the spring, moved into the No. 2 spot, earning his first victory at the position against New Orleans' Rui Silva 6-0, 6-1. Defeated Alabama's Becker O'Shaghnessey at the 2015 Blue Gray National Tennis Classic to earn his 10th-career victory. Picked up his first-career SEC singles victory with a 6-1, 6-2 defeat of Arkansas' Jovan Parlic. Clinched MSU's comeback victory against No. 52 Tennessee on March 27, breaking Hunter Reese to avoid a second-set tiebreaker and win 7-6(4), 7-5. Won his 10th dual match of his career with a 7-5, 2-6, 6-3 win against Vanderbilt's Rhys Johnson on April 10. Partnered with Robin Haden, clinched the doubles point against No. 39 Auburn with a 6-3 win at the No. 2 spot versus Lukas Ollert and Joseph Van Dooren. The duo picked up four-straight wins in matches against No. 39 Auburn (March 15), No. 7 Texas A&M (March 20), No. 13 Ole Miss (March 25) and Kentucky (March 27), clinching the doubles point in two of those contests
Prior to College: Attended SEADEA Academy ... Rose as high as fourth in Argentina and fifth in South America in the junior rankings ... Reached the semifinals in numerous doubles tournaments, including the 2013 Turkey F16 Futures, where he teamed with former Bulldog standout Georgia Coupland ... Career-high ATP rankings of No. 1,336 in singles and No. 1,210 in doubles ... Has picked up wins against Mauricio Perez Mota (ATP No. 607), Ryusei Makiguchi (No. 681) and Benjamin Ugarte (No. 786) ... For his career, he has earned six singles wins and 15 doubles victories in ATP and ITF Pro Cicuit main draw matches
