Biography

Senior (2017-2018): Appeared in all four Fall tournaments ... Went undefeated in back draw singles play against Clemson's Marshall Dagostine (7-5, 3-6, 10-7) and Elon's Mario Paccini (5-7, 6-3, 10-7) at ITA Carolina Regional... Wrapped up the fall season with a co-championship of his own in flight three singles ... Was 6-10 in singles and 1-4 in doubles during the Spring season, and played primarily at the No. 4 position in singles ... Managed to grind out a three-set multi-tiebreak thriller against Adair Bartra of NC A&T, prevailing 4-6, 7-6(7), 12-10 ... Won his first career Spring doubles match when he and Youssef Dabbabi finished off The Citadel's Trey Davis and Willem van Zyl 6-4

Junior (2016-17): Appeared in four Fall tournaments, posting a 4-5 singles record and a 4-3 record in doubles ... Picked up a win over Coastal Carolina's Frencesco Migliano at the ITA Carolinas Regionals ... Went 2-0 in singles at the CofC Classic with wins over Aleksander Stupar of S.C. State and Fredric Lehfeldt of ECU to win the Flight Five Singles Co-Championship ... Posted a 5-6 dual singles record, competing primarily at the No. 5 position ... Won his first four matches of the year, culminating with a three-set victory against Nani Lizana of Florida A&M by a score of 7-6(3), 5-7, 10-3 ... Recorded a 7-6(6), 6-2 win against Max Sinn of Nicholls State

Sophomore (2015-2016): Won six of his 11 matches in singles play between the No. 5 and No. 6 singles flights. Some of his wins include a 6-4, 6-2, win over the Citadel’s Jackson Pride in the No. 5 spot, and a, 7-5, 6-4, win against Winthrop in the No. 5 position.  Khan played an important role in the Cougar’s run for their first CAA Championship, and an NCAA tournament berth against No. 3 ranked North Carolina. 

Freshman (2014-2015) Wagner: Played his first season at Wagner in 2015.  Posted a 13-9 record in singles competition between the No. 1, 2 and 3 positions.  Recorded a 10-9 record in doubles play between the No. 1 and No. 2 doubles positions as well. 

Scholastic / Personal:
Played his prep tennis at the University School under the direction of Dean Goldfine … Earned four varsity letters for the Suns and won the District Title as a senior in 2014 and a freshman in 2011 ... Has won over 30 United States Tennis Association (USTA) tournaments ... Holds a career-best state ranking of 19 ... 2014 FHSAA Class 2A Boys Tennis Championships- District Division 1 Singles Runner-Up and District Division 1 Doubles Champion .. 2014 Martin Luther King Championships Boys 18's Champion ... 2014 Weston Tennis Center Local Level 7 Boys 18's Champion ... 2014 Barbosa Tennis Level 7 Tournament Boys 18's & Under Champion ... 2013 Weston Tennis Center Youth Cup Boys 18's Singles runner-up ... 2013 FHSAA Class 2A Boys Tennis Overall Doubles State Runner-Up ...
